I'm a size 12 and I'm thinking the opposite. My EWO Ultimate one stick is probably going to get sold after this season. I find the platform on the solo much easier to spin around on. I've also started using a ring of steps occasionally though, so that negates that anyways.

I'm a size 12 and I'm thinking the opposite. My EWO Ultimate one stick is probably going to get sold after this season. I find the platform on the solo much easier to spin around on. I've also started using a ring of steps occasionally though, so that negates that anyways.
Agree it has more space to turn than the EWO UP slanted, but no where near as much as the OOAL pinch point i have. But it's lighter, it's all trade offs.

I’ve found the solution to the sticking of the cam cleat when pulling the rope out. I changed the rope that came with it to a hang free rope and it releases as smooth as a harken now.

Works with both cam cleats and versa buttons! Once 3/16 AmSteel®-Blue is buried it comes to just under an 8mm width. Features a 3.5" fixed loop.

I had made a post about it in the one stick group on Facebook, and several guys posted that they went with this and it helped a lot. I can confirm that it does. Some swapped the cam cleat out to a harken and said it matched up perfectly with the holes of the EWO cleat.

Are you talking about the arsenal rope vs the hang free? The hang free is a much higher quality rope. It seems like the cam cleat doesn’t bite down into the fibers of the hang free one as much, making it come out like it should.

Never mind one is amsteel one is rope. My bad!
I got the Hangfree rope and can confirm it’s much nicer that the OEM rope.
