ASAT Camo

Because my friend MOST camouflage is just like fishing lurers in it's designed first and foremost to catch HUNTERS not necessarily animals and quite often I have found great equipment fails mostly due to poor marketing and hunters having mostly closed minds that are full of misconceptions based on incorrect preconceived notions on what they THINK should work VS what actually does.
One of the best I can recall was "Skyline Cammo" I bought a set of ultra warm insulated bibs and parka that my friend took my picture while on a tree stand in both B&W as well as color and it worked better than ANTHING I have ever seen before or since at making you essentially disappear when a deer looks up at you.
But because it was not what hunters thought commo should look like it didn't sell and went out of production. I own both ASAT and Predator cammo and I feel they both work much better than any other cammo pattern available, but I am in the minority.
Now if ASAT could afford to get enough big names in pro whitetail hunting to use it ASAT IMHO would take off in sales.

Congrats on still wearing the same size clothes 22 years later.

This reminds me of a story with my grandpa. It was 2015 or so and we were looking at old photo albums. I don’t remember the exact year, but there is grandpa in a picture from the early 70s. He walks in the room wearing the exact same shirt. It was awesome lol.

Haha, thanks. It is a lot harder at 50 to keep my girlish figure than it was back then. I do have a couple of shirts and a pair of pants from college (88-92) that I still wear occasionally. I have one of Jim Crumley’s original USA made Treebark shirts that I got from Cabelas circa 1990 that I love.

Dayone Camo, he is awesome to work with and USA made. I bought cowboy suede in a shirt and pants wore it last few years. I have had buck suede long time ago and this is much better. It is comfy to my skin, kibda silky, dries super quick. Not water proof, but sat in a steady shower few mornings and stayed dry and warm. The material is quiet, and ASAT works. I plan on ordering a jacket and bibs in cowboy suede in next couple days.

Can't beat their leafy suits great for all temperatures and all seasons.
Had a coyote within 5 yds of me during turkey season.
I have never seen a "TV" hunter using ASAT probably why their sales are not great.
Their web site gives a good overview of the abilities of the camo.

First Light may fudging the ASAT deal a bit. I don’t think there was any real issue expect for FL wanting more brand recognition and ASAT producing their own wool clothing.
