No sir.
This belt will not let you fall.
Staying in it is your job.

I might lose the suspenders and use a back band in the same capacity and then use it leaning.

If you add this to the belt you have another point for backup or rappel.

How do you get one of these buckles secured if you don’t have a sewing machine?

I get the side with the slider, but need help figuring out how to secure the end and maintain weight rating.
