After I made my Wraptor saddle I knew I had to come up with a way to hold it up easily and a way to store my lineman rope and tether. I researched various battle belts and found one made by OneTigris. It has three rows of molle, but most importantly it is segmented which allows my lineman loops to be at the right position.
You can easily suspend your SitDrag or Wraptor from this belt in several ways. I just made a quick 1" webbing loop and used the 1" oval sliders to secure it in the molle loops. For a SitDrag, you could just sew the 1" webbing right to the SitDrag. I can hang my pouch for my lineman rope on my left side and pouch for tether on the right side. You'll see in the pics that I added web dominators to secure the Wraptor buckles while walking. Planning to mount a holster too.
The battle belt comes with an internal 2" belt and buckle but I took that out and made a DIY belt with lineman loops out of 2" seatbelt webbing. It is all one piece and the loops come out one of the segments at the perfect spot for me. There are three folds of the 2" webbing sewn together that allow the loops to be made - just folded the webbing in on itself, sewed them tight, then pulled 1" tubular webbing over for abrasion resistance in the loop. Finished off the belt with a dual-adjustable 2" buckle from ITW. Will be swapping out for a dual-adjustable rated cobra buckle, but wanted to test it out first. The tag ends can be tucked back into the battle belt as well so they are out of the way.
Working on sourcing the battle belt direct but not sure there's enough demand to meet the minimum order. Let me know if you're interested.
