Beast stand - part2

I'm holding out for the MINI BEAST stand with mini seat option. I think it will be perfect for my mini size 7 boots, if it doesn't have that big hole in the middle. And if there is not an up charge for it being smaller.
I haven't heard of any smaller stand. Dan was just talking about a bigger stand for over 275lb on a video about the beast stand.

Dan was saying some company's ware making a stand lighter than the beast stand but the platform was so small to get the weight down he couldn't hunt out of it!

How big is Dan??
He's 6ft The beast stand is a great stand! I didn't think about it before but with the longer platform you can shoot behind the tree easily standing backwards with a rock harnesses or saddle. What is really nice even with the longer platform the stand is smaller than the Assault 2 on your back.

I thought he was 6, 6

It would be interesting to see the math on this.

13" to the side of centerline at 26" back
VS
8" to the side of centerline at 29" back

Compare the angles to a constant distance from baseline, say 10".

I never seemed to have a problem shooting to the back in a short stand. But that shot straight out in front. Elbow hitting tree was the issue. I am having that issue with the .5 and my 30” DL.

Yeah but I shoot a long bow 58in it's definitely different for me! If you look at the review Jason from tbwpcast did he talked about it on the video.

I'm usually quite a bit higher than the target. Bending at the hip for alignment, I haven't noticed that. I draw 30" too.

is that that 45 minute review? I watched drips and drabs of it.

Yep, I found that laughable. Must really like the stand to give it 45 min, which is great.

There's nothing earth shattering here. You like the dimensions or don't.

close shots sure.

I was just saying I hadn't noticed it. I get the geometry and that probably most hunters will draw straight and then adjust. So yea, I can see where some run into that.

30” draw length. That’d be nice. Increase arrow speed at the same draw weight. Sounds like hitting the tree while in a smallish treestand platform is one trade off to living with those ape hangers. T-Rex hadn’t thought of that.

Man in no way would I want it smaller. Love how my feet don't hang off the end. I would really like to see a limited run of a beast stand with price being no object with all the bells and whistles. Traction grooves, maybe cerakote finish. He said something about injection washers on a podcast he wanted but Mario said no too.

I'm happy with my beast stand! I didn't think I would like the bigger platform but I really do.
