Few stealth strips here and there and it will be ready to rock. I will get it out in the next couple days try it on a few trees but so far it looks awesome. Nice job Beast crew.

Do you think it needs the full stelth tree stand kit or just some stelth strips?

Not sure yet. I got the full kit from Lou but I don't know if I will install it all yet. See when I get some time and start playing around with it. Probably do the perimeter and cables and any contact points then go from there.

Did you get the new smoke kit or the reg kit?The reg looks like it doesn't have the cable strips.
 
So I'm beyond blow away. So so much better than my .5 was. In not an infalt fart sniffer but he absolutely crushed it with this stand. NO sharp edges whatsoever. My 11 feet don't hang off. The width isn't a problem. The aluminum post has almost no wiggle or flex as compared to the .5 machined post. That bracket bites into the tree like I've never seen. So light. It has it all. Only con is the seat is a generic Garbo foam seat. And the backpack straps blow

Anyone willing to give measurements on the width and angle of the platform V? I'd be interesting to compare to some other stands.

The finish does look great. For a stand, I think the extra length makes sense...anyone using this with a saddle? Wondering how the narrowness and tighter cable angle effects that.

For a seat upgrade, LWCG has black-defective (improper velcro position) cushions on sale that you could trim.

I have one of the cushions already. May try it when my stand comes in.
 
Dan, Has said the back pack straps are just 1 1/2 IN like most companies use and most people put what they want on anyway! He didn't like much hanging under his stand and dosen't use a cushion on his stand. I'm not gonna use a back belt on my stand and probably a thin cushion.I think he said reg LW cushion was the same size so you could use it.

Haha, very good unbiased review. I read this as...this is the best stand out there but it has really ****ty "extras" that you don't care about anyway. You get what you pay for and if you can flip the bill for the stand you can buy a seat cushion and straps that you actually want.

This stand looks sweet
