Every stakes that came with any ground blinds/tents/etc I have purchased or seen reviewed are junk. I'm searching Amazon for good quality stakes.

Criteria:
light weight
easy to push with feet so wide surface maybe
bright color preferred

@GCTerpfan I remember you had some at ETAR 2025 that looked pretty nice, do you remember what they were?

I like MSR Ground Hogs. The knock offs can be hit or miss. Steel shepherd hooks can be bent back but don't really hold the best. I've even used "super stakes" and "Berkshire" stakes meant for trapping in private areas I'll come back to. You can mark the cable on these style with a piece of flagging to reattach the blind. You can make something similar to the trapping style with a washer, use a slotted rod to tap or push them in the ground. Use a piece of paracord or similar knotted to the hole in the washer, pull to set them. Depth/soil type will determine strength of hold. Shallower and they'll usually pull out and be reusable.

Probably these aluminum stakes https://www.onewindoutdoors.com/collections/tent-stakes

If you end up ordering something from OneWind let me know, I’ve got a coupon code that will save you a little bit.

These are the absolute best I've found...they definitely stay in place...the straps on your blind will break before these pull out of the ground. You can pick them up from just about any Walmart. The usually run $20. I picked up 2 boxes on clearance at the end of this season...marked down to $12...rang up for $8.

Is there a model among those that you recommend?
Stakes or their hammocks and tarps?

In general I’ve been rallying impressed with the OneWind stuff. My tarp has survived a couple storms above 11,500’ in CO that were downright scary. They are a little heavier than the super high end stuff but the quality is there.

I was thinking stakes, but if there's a tarp you like I could go down that rabbit hole ...

I Like to Use Steel Gutter Spikes For My Fly and Tent or Blind Materials. They Are Not Too Heavy But Compact and Very Tough. Cheap Too!

Here’s my affiliate link. Im not positive but I think it’s supposed to save you 10%? The only person I’ve ever given it to is @Bigterp. I’m not a very good affiliate. Lol.

I have the Billow 12’ tarp shelter and the Penumbra hot tent as well as their 12’ hammock and a ton of their accessories. I’ve been impressed with the quality of all of their stuff.

As far as the stakes. The red aluminum version comes standard with all of their stuff so that’s what I use. I’ve thought about getting their titanium stakes once or twice but never pulled the trigger.
