Look at the Amsteel guy ultimate stick attachment... I got it and like it; however, I have added an aluminum cam jam to it to make it easier to tighten and it also gives some weigh for flipping around the tree....Who makes the best daisy chain for stick attachments? I'm looking for some with the elastic band at the end, but also with a ball at the end to help with throwing it around the tree.
Now that's a good idea. I've already made an amsteel adjustable bridge and a few continuous loop. I'm not opposed to making my own, but I really need to get something with weight because a few trees I hunt are larger at the bases.you can get very thin shock cord (or any diameter) from paracordplanet
and for the weight on the end, i used tungsten fishing weights because they are even denser than lead (probably densest metal that is readily available) and also are nontoxic unless you grind it up and eat or inhale it (touching it or having it touch your gear isn't a concern)
for your splicing fid for small diameter amsteel, wally world purple aluminum knitting needles cut to open them are about perfect and cheap
