Best knee pads?

I've been using vintage trophy line knee pads for 13 years and just received my second spare set. Back in the day they were $35.00, now they're $25.00..Get them while you can.

I use a pair of 2 dollar carpenters foamies from lowes the I cut the straps of off and slip inside of kneepad pocket on my old marpat trousers they work perfect and I never have to worry about straps

Check out the Trophyline pads.

I had them many years ago and sold them along with the TL saddle. I ordered them from TL and they came in yesterday. I should have never sold them years ago.

I have a set of Blackhawk pads that come in a nice mesh bag that doubles as another place to stash stuff like a phone, rangefinder, grunt tube, can call once up on the tree. The pads are pretty good and I just use the bottom strap, keeps them from bunching under my knees and work pretty well

I think I will look for something other than the arcteryx knee pads. Starting second season with them and they are pretty awful as far as comfort against the tree. No padding at all and my knees are bruises after an all day sit today.

My TL pads will be here Tuesday. I won't be able to give therm a true test until next year but I'll share my thoughts. I've worn several types over the years laying floor and what not.

Anyone used these. I need some really good padding or I will have to go back to the climber. I cant afford a knee surgery.

I have them and I don't care for them either. I bought a camo pair from Home depot and they are way more comfortable and cheap but the are Velcro. I just received a pair of Trophyline knee pads and they are the ones I will be using. I had them years ago but sold them along with the Trophyline Neoprene saddle. Try them you can order them on the Trophyline website under vintage knee savers for $25 .

+1 on the amazon knock offs... elite tribe I think... they work great

I don't like stuff on my legs so I use the pad that comes with my lone Wolf seat.

I just bought some soft AWP's Sunday from Lowes and they worked but they are Velcro and if my legs rubbed together the Velcro would grab and make noise. Comfy to wear in and comfy for a short sit with knees on the tree as I don't sit like that the whole time. They can be put on under the pants too. Also they were 10 bucks. That said I am going to try some hard material ones later. Edit...........now that I said that I should have put them on with the velcro attachemts on opposite sides duh.......
Just saw these on AMZN...same price / style as the Husky's I got from HD. Except these appear to have a texture pattern that should help...
