Best lighted nock

I have been using Nockturnal reds for 2 seasons. They are a bit awkward to turn off and I ruined a couple by damaging them while turning off. I feel like I have a pretty good system now so I do not wreck them anymore. I wish I would have saved the old ones I ruined to use for practice, it is a pain to constantly have to turn them off between shots. However, they are super bright and have always turned on when arrow is released.

Love my nockturnals. Don’t see any reason to pay that much for firenocks. Amazon 20 bucks for 3 nockturnals. I’ve left one on over 24 hours and it was still glowing bright.

Tried them all and strictly use firenocks, as said before if you pay attention to detail and set up correctly there is nothing better. Super bright and just tap the nick to turn off.

Agree that firenocks are the best. So that answers the original post. All that’s left is deciding if they are worth $20/nock to you.

I hated my firenocks and had nothing but trouble. That is why they have a trade in program. Trade in your defective and buy more at a discount. Hated them so much I gave up on lighted nocks.

Try Glory Nocks before you completely give up... I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but I've really enjoyed them compared to others I've shot so far!

Sometimes I take people out for bow hunts, not paid guide or anything just helping people enjoy the sport. I’ve found that if your just getting rdy to go out and lighted nocks are an after thought than no firenock is not worth it. My first try with FN to be honest was sketchy, I thought man this is a lot of BS for just a light, and I screwed up a few and got frustrated, grabbed a nocturnal and slapped it in.
My second go with them went extremely different, I wasn’t in a rush and set up my arrows correctly along with my bolts and haven’t had any issues. Once you have your circuits the rest is simple, Jorge usually sends you old batteries that he won’t sell but still work perfectly so my inventory is huge now. I haven’t bought new circuits in 3 yrs, just caps for new arrows and bolts.
I like the brand but honestly it doesn’t matter if you like to save money buy whatever is on sale and I’m sure they will do the trick.

Nock-Out lighted nocks have been good to me in the past. They're also a good bit cheaper than the nockturnals which is a plus. They can be kind of a hassle to "assemble" and "disassemble" but other than that they've seemed to have held up quite well. Going on year 3 with them, and I don't think I've ever had a nockturnal last that long.

Just ordered another 12 for $10 on ebay of the light on at shot knocks. Awesome knocks and a fraction of the name brand stuff. They are coming from china but will be here before most of us get our saddle gear.

I'm going to be giving Glory Nock a try. The lighted nocks I got last year have not held up target practicing so far this year. Last week the red on off tab came off and could not turn the light off. Then tonight the nock itself came apart leaving half the nock in the arrow shaft. Really wish I could remember the name brand.

I have good luck with Nocturnals the past few years so I'll keep using them. I prefer the red but found some 3 packs of green on Amazon for $13 so I got plenty.

I’ve had Lumenok and Nockturnal.....whichever one has the little hole with the switch in the side was probably better, but I’m in the reading glasses phase now and that gave me fits (destroyed one of them trying to figure it out, but I don’t tell people that so shhhhhh). Whichever one the other one is that you slightly pull out the nock to turn it off is what’s on my arrows now. I like them because all I have to do to turn them off is clip onto the string and give a little twist and pull to turn them off.

Firenocks I think are the best but they are pricey!!

What are the weights on Glory nocks? I know nocturnals are 25 or so grains. That's why I don't use them.
