I am going to try saddle hunting again on private property. I am around 240 lbs and 6' 1".. Any one in my weight class have any experience with the Latitude carbon SS sticks? As with everything in this world you have people that can find issues with anything so I know there are the people who like the sticks and those who don't I have bought a slightly used complete setup and the sticks have been in the tree 2-3 times (not by me but the previous owner). I have read they have a weight limit of 275 and with me around 240 just looking to see if anyone can give me some reviews. Thanks in advance... FYI the only others sticks I have used is the Skeletors but I sold everything about a year ago.

We have nearly identical builds and I’ve had them for 3 seasons and one of those I used them exclusively. I have transitioned to 1 sticking but keep my ss sticks for certain situations (taking someone or a preset). At my heaviest I was a touch over 240 then add in my gear and clothes (I climb w/pack) for a Nebraska December/February hunt. I never questioned their durability or stability. I highly recommend using only the manufacturer’s direction for securing them. Also, as a side note, this vid has mods that I made that make the sticks sooo much better!

Thanks for the information

6’2” 244 lbs. And 63 years old. I have three sets of 4 SS sticks. I have been through four different manufacture’s sticks. Enough said.

They do flex. Bow into the tree pretty good at that weight. If you have size 12+ feet the toe room is severely lacking.

Size 13" here. There is always going to be some type of sacrifice. Price, weight, stand offs, etc. I do not wear burly type rubber boots when using the steps because I like to feel the step more since it is just the front third of my foot on the step. When you take into account you spend less than couple minutes on each step the toe room doesn't really come into play.
