Check him out, The old big base buck. He makes an appearance on a trough every August or September. Then he disappears for the season with maybe a single night pic chasing during the rut. I finally got multiple pics of him coming and going from a more isolated area of WRP. Two cameras multiple days! He’s on his way down in old age but to beat this old man would be an accomplishment any hunter should be proud to accomplish. Wish me luck and the right winds. He did it again! He beat 2 mobile hunters in saddles and 5 box stand/feeder hunters! These pics were taken last night, 3 days after the season ended. I had the only known daylight pics of him first week of October this season. Once the tractor starts chopping food plots and bush hogging he disappears. I’m telling y’all he is going to die of old age! If he passing on his instincts/intelligence we may starve or at least spend more money at the grocery store.
