Big Jim Bow Company Shipping Timelines

I bought a fair amount of items from Big Jim's Bow Company Website 12 days ago and have yet to receive any shipping confirmation or tracking number. It shows that the order is still being processed. I have contacted them by phone and email with no response. Is this par for the course for these guys or is this uncommon from y'alls experience. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little annoyed. I like to buy from small businesses but when the communication and services are lacking it makes me second guess buying from places like this again. I also understand that shipping has been extended in a lot of places but I don't understand a 2 week processing time unless some of the items I purchased are back-ordered. I wish they would get back to me soon so I don't have to go through the pain of canceling and buying from somewhere else. I've heard nothing but good things from these guys which is why I chose to buy from them.
 
That’s strange Big Jim is normally pretty good in answering message but then again he might still be unpacking from his ETAR trip if he went this year but still no excuse he should still respond one way or another to let you know the scoop. I like to buy thru small mom and pop places but if they lack communication I then move on snd make a mental note not to order again unless I talk to them on phone to order first and if I can I buy local or hit up lancasters and 3 rivers since they slways have great communication skills

They did not answer my email or call. I finally got a hole of them via phone 14 days after ordering. They told me they would have it out that same day. It’s been 4 days since then and I have still not received shipping confirmation. I’m about done…
 
Can’t blame you. Time to move on I’ve seen a trend in these smaller company’s over the years. Great communication and service then after awhile it’s lacking. If I can’t get local then I stick with the big name companies as they have always answer my emails and get the product out quick. I don’t mind waiting for a item as long as I know about it and communicated with

I ordered some VPA 150's from him last summer and it took awhile but he had good pricing and they eventually shipped. I think he is still relatively small and I know he's been at ETAR 2021 too so just give it some time. I was in your exact position last year and started to wonder too but they'll get it processed for you.
 
That's too bad. I would be frustrated with that too.

I redacted my whiny reply’s. I found the shipping receipt and they marked the two items as backordered. That said I asked if any of the items were backordered last Friday and they said no. Says remaining items should ship this Friday. So we will see.

Yea I’m trying real hard to be patient but I’m not typically very patient when I spend money haha. I want clear communication about what’s going on.
 
7 and 1/2 weeks later I finally received my last item….. worst service ive dealt with in a while. Saying you have a lot of business is not an excuse a paying customer wants to hear. Neither is, we sold out at a archery shoot so we will have to make more for online orders. Enjoy my money, it’s the last I’ll spend there. I called and they said they would ship the back order item that day. 2 weeks go by nothing, call again, leave name and number with the lady, she says they will call me that day and let me know where the item is, said that “preacher” is coming in today to make them. Another week and a half later and it finally arrives, never got a call the day I asked about my item. I love to support small businesses but this one lost my business. RANTS FINALLY OVER
 
That sucks man I done spent my last cent with them 7 years ago after something similar a lot of better choices out there to spend my money which I did today after spending most of the day at Lancaster archery and Kinsey outdoors. Granted they didn’t have a lot of stuff I needed on hand but is at their warehouse which I had to order which will be at my door early next week7D6C37A4-CF35-4A0D-A65C-90D4AD8CAA13.jpeg
