Big jims quiver?

Anyone running one ? If so how do you like it. I was looking at the two piece one for my new Deerseeker vendetta I ordered.

I have one. It tends to want to twist on my Toelke longbow. It may be better on a wider limb bow. I added an aluminum strip bent to copy the Walker Creek design. It works much better. I'll try to post a photo this evening when I get home. I much prefer the Eagle Flight Archery quivers with the Talon grip system vs Big Jims.

I think I will go with the Eagle Flight 3 Arrow Cherokee. Nice compact and lite.

I'm a fan of EFA quivers also. I've owned several and they are the most secure and lightest that I have found. Just make sure you route the strap through both side of the tri glide. The only time I've had one slip is when I just ran the strap through the one side.

The EFAs do NOT stay put on the hybrid longbow bows without some persuasion. I have used an EFA for two years with my slick stick which looks very similar to the bow you’re getting and it moves over time shooting, that’s even with some bike tube to help it. The bike tube reduces the movement greatly but it will creep, there is just not flat spot on the riser to the limbs and the rubber grabber is too stubby for the thick part of the riser/limb where you need to put the quiver.

The big Jim’s quiver is a little more movable but it contours better to these type of bows and doesnt go anywhere since the whole wrap is rubber. He also sells a bracket that ties the two together and stiffens them up if you desire.

I have come to enjoy the position the EFA quiver holds the arrows; however, I’m over the quiver moving around. It’s a love/hate relationship. I think I may vet wrap below both ends so it really has no choice.

I love how light my EFA quiver is but the micro arrow holder for 5mm is complete garbage in terms of holding the arrows in place.

I have one. There are metal button studs on the top and bottom section that have worn rub marks on what was once a flawless vintage Ben Pearson Hunter. Not too happy with it. I'll never use them on another bow.

I went with an Eagle flight quiver. Very happy with it!
