Bino harness for big guys

Ok looking for some information on bino harnesses. Just got some vortex binos that came with the glasspack harness and I don't like the way they fit. They seem to sit high and are sloppy feeling on the upper part, due to my beer gut. I've never used a harness before and not sure if this is normal, or if there are other ones that would work better with my gut. Thanks
 
I’m in the same boat. I bought some shock cord and made a diy version of the rick young outdoors harness. I really like it so far
 
I've looked at the rick young harness. Do you have the neoprene cover for your diy one? Would like to have a little protection.
 
I'm 284 or so, 5'9" with a gut and my marsupial rides high on the belly but it works and is plenty adjustable. Love it
 
I picked up a Alpz case and it works well even over clothing and I’m 6’ 200+ lbs.
