Binoculars

I bought a pair of Bushnell 10x42 a couple years back. They were discontinued and were going real cheap so I bought them. Never had a decent pair before and never realized what I was missing. For the hunting I do I wish I would have gotten the 8x42 to be a bit better at early morning and late evening. Last year I got a harness. Alaskan Guide Creations classic with MAX pocket. Very good harness and I can pack a ton of extra junk in it making my back pack smaller.

Brunton 7x42 roof prizm's I've had for years, a little too heavy and bulky for bowhunting but great clarity and light gathering due to the large objective lenses and relatively low power.
Steiner 8x32 porro prizms which are great glass too and a little more compact (I find myself using these most)
Bauch&Lomb Legend compact porro prisms I bought when I read Roger Rothaar used them. These are 10x32 and very compact. I like them for early season bowhunting. Went to RYO's ultralight harness this year and it makes any binocs a breeze to use! Highly recommend getting this harness system!!!!!

I bought a pair of 8 x 42 Vortex Crossfire HD last year and am really happy with the in the Woods of North Ga. They seem to be good and clear even in low light of early morning or late evening hunts. Not quite as clear as the Vortex Diamondbacks but I just didn’t have the extra money. So they seem to be working pretty good for me. Plus you can’t beat the Vortex Warranty.
