Black Friday cell cam deals

On this topic, what are some reliable cell cams y'all have used? I had a non-cellular Moultrie that I bought on sale at ****'s Sporting Goods, and it sucked so badly I returned it a month later. Feeling a little burned, so don't want to drop dough on another dud...

Found the spypoint micro's on ****'s website for $99. Only can find them local with the verizon plan. Not thrilled about them because of reviews but I'll give it a shot for that price.
I've got one and I'd buy another. My expectations were low off of reviews but it's been great. Picture clarity isn't wonderful on your phone but when you pull the card they're better. You can still tell if it's something you'd wanna shoot or not. At least I can.

As a club we bought 6 Spypoint Link-micros for our Missouri lease and all 6 have bit the dust since September. I run 7 covert code blacks in Mississippi and they have worked flawless. IMO save your money and buy something worth buying. Also spypoint customer service sucks.

Same with me

What specifically happened to the micros?

Just stopped working, updated firm ware 4-5 times they would work for a few days then stop sending pictures. We would pull sd cards check pictures on lap top and the camera was taking pictures. Bought new sd cards formatted them and they worked again for about 5 days then went out again. Spypoint wasn't any help with cameras just would tell me to update firm ware. Never not once have I had any similar issues with my covert cameras, and I was hoping the spypoints would work bc they are a much cheaper alternative.

I run stealth cam, spypoint, Moultrie modems and Moultrie XV. I have 6 Xvs and 4 modems and I doubt I’ll ever buy anything other than Moultrie. I have buddy’s that run them too and they all love them. Anyone with questions about them you can pm me don’t want to derail the thread but I can’t say enough about them. I received 25% off each cam then used the $50 rebate so I ended up paying about $80 per cam. That’s awesome. Watch llbean and ****s they should do at least 30% off on them then send in the rebates. You can’t beat that. The other cams are decent but imo the moultries blow them away in performance. Can’t speak for reconyx or Spartan I’m not spending that coin on a cam going on public land. I’ll post the sales here when I find them.

I went through all of this earlier in the year, but last week I emailed them because I was still getting charged for a monthly plan on a camera they swapped out. I had called them and emailed them for 3 months with no response or action, but I gave it another go since I read somewhere that they had hired a ton of customer service people. I had a response within a couple hours, and they refunded a month of it. I emailed them again the next day to refund the other 4 months and it was done later that day.

Interesting. Maybe cell service? I've had mine out nonstop since mid September and it's been flawless. I do have excellent reception though. Get pix sent every 4 hours and still have 100% battery life

Not a service problem bc I put covert right beside it with same provider and it worked fine when spypoint didnt but my problems are over bc they are no longer with us my buddy got mad and smashed them all. We went through 5 months of headaches with them. We live 900 miles from our missouri lease so when we spend money we expect results. He did pay us back our part of the money we put up to buy them with and we will be creating a separate account for our Missouri covert cameras.

My spypoint micros are working great and I've been running three for a couple months. No complaints except I bought one that wouldn't connect and exchanged it for a new one.

Tasco 8MP Tan Game Camera Low Glow $28.88 on Walmart online. I have 3 of them I've been running for the past 3 months with zero problems and still have great battery life left.
