I just went and looked at their IFAKs and as much as we discuss overall safety with ropes, knots and carabiners and quality gear down to the type of rope that can be touching other rope I’m going to speak up here.
Those IFAK kits are not worth purchasing from that site even at fifty percent off. They do not include any blood clotting agents like a hemostatic gauze or quickclot and some of them have a tourniquet but it doesn’t state what type meaning it’s potentially not TCCC or TECC approved which means straight up don’t use it. They are over charging you for basic band aids and other stuff you can get for way cheaper.
I highly suggest North American Rescue as the first place to call and speak to someone about what you want and need. Does it cost more? Yes. Why? Because they only sell and make the best approved equipment on the market. No I’m not a rep but I have utilized their equipment and can tell you I’ll be mad if you saved thirty dollars but bled out because I didn’t say something
