Bow holder what cha using?

I'm a big fan of the smaller hawk screw in holder and I hold my bow by the limb..
I shoot better with my quiver on and do not have any issues leaving it on with this holder.

I had a HME holder before and it did not stick out far enough and my quiver would hit the tree and I never felt secure with it

What rope are you using for your tether..?

Looks like it blends in well....was hoping to find some.
Not trying to hijack the thread...
I would find something else, I only used that for a short period of time I felt comfortable with it at the time but after learning a lot more I found that using climbing rated ropes is better for our purpose, I'm using 3/8 Sterling HTP now you can order it in olive drab.

Any of yall use Cliptor attached straight to tether instead of a seperate accessory strap?

Anyone every tried this: Hip Bow Holder - Tactical Archery Systems ????

Seems interesting to have it there at your side from the saddle.

I tried one years ago and I thought it was pretty slick especially while shooting 3d tournaments. While shooting a tournament my friends wife asked me about so I offered to let her try it. I removed it from my bow and installed it on hers. The next target was a 30 yard shot that my arrow sailed over the deer's back and off into the woods. "What was that!" was the instant reply from my group I was shooting with. Maybe I didn't reset my sight? No, it was right. Maybe I just pulled it? Next target was a 20 yard give me and again my arrow sailed way high, over the target into the woods. No way that was me. Started checking out for something loose on my bow and nothing was. Next target was a full size elk that I waited until everyone had shot before I walked up to 10 yards and shot. Arrow was 10-12" high. Shot again, arrows touched. Put the bow holder hardware back on my bow and shot 2 times again. Both arrows touched about 2" high. I played with some more at my archery shop and if I moved it the least little bit it affected the harmonics of the bow and the sights would be high or low. It now resides in a dump somewhere. Short version is there are bad side effects if it moves.

10-4. I think they are out of business anyway. Just was curious. Thanks for the feedback sir.

I use the Hawk Silent Grip Tactical Solo Tree Hook 60 lb Weight Capacity or the hawk extendable one. I tried and use a third hand on my climber.

Short length of line (between 7 & 8 feet long) girth hitched around the tree. Have a 550 paracord prussic with a rubber dipped hook on the tag end. Positioning is fully adjustable on the fly. Cheap and simple, hook is the biggest item.

I just bought a uslide mini off a guy here. Looking forward to this season

I stole the g2 outdoors idea but didn't want to have to buy that clip. I cut this thing out of pvc board. Holds the bow off the tree a little further. It doesn't weigh anything
