Bow holder what cha using?

That Sir is slick as owl snot. Thanks for sharing. I know what I'm making this weekend.
Thanks.....i keep my quiver on my bow and with those clips it makes the bow rest kinda in a bind against the tree. I haven't hunted with it yet but it holds my bow while shooting in the backyard......so it gets used 2 or 3 days every week and i can't find anything wrong with it to justify spending money on anything else. My state doesn't want you to screw anything into trees on public land which is all i have access to hunt...

Love the DIY...why buy when you can make it

Same here. I ordered it brand new last August and couldn't get it to set into a single tree. Hunting season started in Sept so I forgot all about it till I saw this post. Just called and spoke w/ Peter and he is shipping me a replacement.

Really, I had the same problem last season with it. That’s cool you got it replaced.

He said they had a bad batch get thru, if you got your email order confirmation you should be able to get a replacement.

It is pvc pipe material that is in sheet form....like plywood. Im not sure where to buy it. We use it at work and i save the small drop pieces. Waterproof and easy to cut/drill

I'm planning to make something very similar using cheap dollar store cutting board. Will get it made this weekend and let y'all know if the cutting board material works out.

I emailed u slide last night, he found my original order from last year. Sending a replacement today! That’s great customer service right there!

Made a prototype outta poplar to test before cutting the cutting board... The wood creaks where it contacts the bark. Not sure if the cutting board material will or not. I'll end up wrapping it anyway. I also need to make it a little thicker. This width wedges between my string and limb and makes noise when taking the bow off the hook.

I'm very disappointed with the uslide mini. It only screws into a tree if I pre drill with a hawk hook. Then the thing to fasten the part where the bow actually goes does not tighten enough. I'm a strong guy and although my bow is heavy at about 8lb the fork keeps dipping forward.

I'm just gonna use the hawk rubber coated hooks I got 3 of them and they work well

I have tried quite a few different options. I keep going back to two things . One is the Hawk rubber hook. But some trees I just can`t get it to bite so I put together another system using a couple of ridge hunter accessory hooks and a moultrie camera strap. My bow and pack hang nicely in any tree now. I tried the daisy chain setup with a carabiner and almost dropped my bow so I came up with this setup using stuff I already had. Light, secure and adjustable .I`ll post up some pics when I get home. These are the hooks. I`m not sure where you can get them but I can find out if anyone is interested.

I just ordered the HME accessory holder. The plastic hooks are pretty sturdy and the stap is a good 6'
long so it will fit around a pretty good sized tree.

I use a hawk bowholder aswell. It goes with me everywhere. I dont keep it in my pack though, I found that a standard pipe fitting connected to my bow works slick! That was I always have it and importantly I can see I have it as well as saves a small space in my pack

Got a pic of how it's attached to the bow?
