What do you think? Can I do this to remove the strings, release it down to swap the limbs? Screenshot_20230118-200156~2.pngScreenshot_20230118-200209~2.png

I can testify that it takes an ungodly amount of pressure to press a crossbow. Back when I did that for a living, you could feel the difference turning the crank on a LCA press, and there's enough leverage on that that feeling resistance was really kinda eery.
In your Opinion as a guy who worked on a lot of stuff.. older Parker crossbow. Needs limbs. Just had a new string put on. I have read about triggers going bad. Limbs are 140-150. Triggers are 150. I see 2 used Center point crossbows near by. 250-300. One comes with a case. Are you holding or folding?

I have a much higher opinion of Parker than Centerpoint. But, isn't Parker out of business? At a certain point it's like a Johnson or Evinrude outboard. The parts won't be there.

If you love the bow that's one thing. If it's just a bolt-flinging implement, I'd be open-minded towards a replacement.
