I want an adjustable lightweight and low bulk bridge for my kestrel because it has a bulky predator rope bridge that isn’t adjustable and that sucks.

what are my options and what do you guys recommend? I think I could do a webbing bridge from eastern outdoors or the H2 triad bridge

What do you guys think?

24 inch dyneema climbing sling girth hitched to left bridge loop and girth hitched to a carabiner. Carabiner is clipped to right bridge loop for 24 inch bridge or carabiner is passed through right bridge loop and clipped back to left bridge loop for a 12 inch bridge. Not infinitely adjustable but it is climb rated.

Webbing from Doublesteps is your best bet IMO if wanting adjustability. Also search function works great. I know of a few others that have posted bridge ideas which some are adjustable.

I have considered trying an Oplux bridge. Maybe use a Beal jammy to make a prussic. No splicing necessary and lighter than an ultribridge. Buy a tender too.

I have made an ultribridge and it is not hard and would be a bit stronger and actually heavier because of the full bury.

I don’t like the triad bridge. It could be the rope used and the fact it doesn’t have a fully buried dyneema. It does not slide as well as the ultribridge.
I expect an Oplux bridge would work well

I get the benefits of an adjustable bridge especially since I rappel down. How beneficial is the ability to articulate the saddle via comfort channels or the triad? I’ve never felt the need l, but it’s marketed like some secret sauce that you need but never knew you needed.

I have used the triad to adjust the bridge location. It will change the saddle pressure points so I suppose that will also be true with the phantom. I expect for some people it will make zero difference. I think it may make a difference for me based on limited experience with the H2. My phantom is now in customs in Canada. So I will soon be able to try the comfort channels on the phantom.

Yes but I have never touched Amsteel so I wasn’t that interested in DIY. I hear it’s easy but the bridge is pretty important!
1/2 inch thick and rated to 22 kN. No DIY necessary.

I am using 8MM accessory cord an left it longer.
I was about to cut it and leave it where it is.
This thread made me reconsider so I'm going to use a pursik at the right D ring and leave the extra hang, about a foot.
Pursik will hold real good and release but only with a gental massage which means it won't be traveling on it's own.
And the all important stopper knot.

I messed around with rope and cordage on hand and this is where I'm at now.
7ft Oplux with a beal jammy prussik connected with carabiner. One side girth hitched to my left bridge loop. Thought is that it can double as a second LB during climb and bridge at height and can also be shortened for my rappel down. Primary LB is girth hitched to LB loops. Both ropes will stay in a left side dump pouch.

Not sure what I am accomplishing other than keeping my bridge out of the way for my climb and minimizing the transition to rappel at the end of hunt. Now I'll just shorten bridge instead of installing a sling and hook atc and back up to main line at the end of hunt.
