I was wondering if anyone has ideas for a bridge for an ess that is not fixed? Would like to be able to slip it through my iwom when necessary.

By the way new to saddle hunting. But been climbing for a living a long time. Tree trimmer early on, now lineman for 25 years.

I bought a used ESS with an amsteel bridge. Loop on one end and prusik on the other. I guess could undo the bridge and put a carabiner on the loop. I’m just guessing.

Get some 11mm rope and tie one end on the metal loop with a figure 8 and put a prusik with a carabiner on the other end . Now you have a bridge that you can open.

Thanks. That’s what I was thinking too. Just wanted to see or hear some completed and safe ideas.

You could also take the original bridge and open the end that lengthens the bridge and remove it from the metal loop and make a loop in the end insert a carabiner through the loop and then attach it to the metal loop on the saddle.
