Any of you Saddle Hunters have a bridge length over 30”? Seems like that’s the only way I can get ride of most of my hip pinch. Just want to see if I’m a loner in this area. Thanks!

I like my bridge adjustable up to almost 48in. I typically run it over my head on the walk in and anytime I'm climbing with my lineman's belt. Aerohunter's adjustable rope bridge used to come about that long, thats how I grew to like it.

Mine is set at 44” and seems to work well also.

I haven’t figured it out yet but It’s nice to know either is ok. I’ve seen videos with a bridge over the guys head and some maybe chest high. Mine is at the top of my chest and I’d like to try a longer one.
I just found walking with my lineman’s belt over my neck is like suspenders……I like it much better than it being stuffed in a pouch.

Are you a sitter or a leaner? I'm 90 percent leaner and I like my bridge 18" and my tether about nipple high. I just got a Transformer saddle and it has an adjustable rope bridge and I love it. I walk with the bridge over my neck and when I'm in the tree I shorten it up.

I just tried putting tether at that height and shortening bridge and much more comfortable. I lean 100% of the time. Not a fan of sitting.

I am mostly a sitter. However, I just used the Cruzr saddle and man that saddle is awesome! Didn’t matter if I sat or leaned it didn’t hurt at all. Best feeling saddle I’ve tried. Started with a Tactisaddle, sitdrag, Mantis, H2 then the Recon. I’ve realized the more surface area a saddle has the better.

mostly a leaner here, bridge is adjustable and around 24", tether is around forehead height when standing on the platform....i'll make bridge and tether longer/higher on tree if i think i'm going to have to really move for a shot

hip pinch seems really saddle dependent.....i've always used a cruzr xc size 2, which is slightly big, and i've never experienced hip pinch...have gotten swamp butt in hot weather though

A longer bridge means a more acute angle and less load each side sees compared to a short bridge which would have a wider angle and each side needing to be a higher load to hold the weight.

I keep a low tether (nipple high) and my bridge at 18”. I believe this puts more weight on my legs and feet and less on my hips. I weigh 260#. I have four different saddles and have not had any hip pinch.
