Broadhead test pack

If I take the time to sharpen it I would expect the same from others. If I loan you a tool your supposed to give it back in the same condition

I am thinking of giving the bone broadheads a try,i dont own any yet. If i get those i will post it here.

For anybody interested in the less expensive grizzly heads....it took about 1.5 hrs to get this to shaving sharp. Hard to see but the blades at the ferrule end have a slight taper and you gotta remove slot of material. The dark is sharpie I never was able to hit with the stone. Personally I find sharpening things therapeutic so I didn't mind. But keep in mind your gonna spend a lot of time with these heads to get them hunt ready.

Will it do single bevel? Can u set the grind angle? Seems most of these single bevels are at 25 degrees
The one I have is 20 degrees so if the single bevels are 25 it probably won't work!

I’d be willing to contribute a Zwickey Eskimo. Mine have 100gr steel adapters so they come in at 235-238 gr.

My only stipulation is the broadhead has to be as sharp when you send it off as when you got it
I've never paid any attention to broadhead sharpness while tuning and practicing. If you want to do side-by-side penetration tests on uniform media, though, all the heads should be equally sharp. Do we need this loaner pack of heads to be kept razor sharp? Is that a reasonable expectation?
