Sure thing!@Red Beardbe interested to know how accurate the listed weights are to each head
I found the same to be true for the Magnus'. Almost 2 gr off.True weight did not match the manufacturers advertised weights.
How many grains of weight did you remove? For anybody interested in the less expensive grizzly heads....it took about 1.5 hrs to get this to shaving sharp. Hard to see but the blades at the ferrule end have a slight taper and you gotta remove slot of material. The dark is sharpie I never was able to hit with the stone. Personally I find sharpening things therapeutic so I didn't mind. But keep in mind your gonna spend a lot of time with these heads to get them hunt ready.

I forgot to check.....I removed lots of material for sureHow many grains of weight did you remove?
My brain immediately went to trying to maintain consistent weight between a set of headsI forgot to check.....I removed lots of material for sure
The Eclipse have a "125" stamped on them, but my scale says they are 134 grains. My scale is not a top-end scale, but I did check it with known weights and it does weigh accurately.Sure thing!
I found the same to be true for the Magnus'. Almost 2 gr off.
Is that the guy who ''durability tests'' by shooting into cinder blocks? I don't understand how that teaches anybody anything.....I'm at work and didn't read the whole thread but if it wasn't said before, check out Lusk broadhead test on YouTube.
Ashby lists arrow and broadhead integrity (strength) as the number 1 factor promoting penetration. If the broadhead breaks (as many do when they hit hard bone) its penetration is dramatically compromised. Torture tests on hard stuff (cinder blocks, etc) will quickly separate the well-built heads from the ones you don't want to shoot at big game.Is that the guy who ''durability tests'' by shooting into cinder blocks? Absolutely! Can you post a photo of the full set, with a list of what's what? That will help us when looking them over, and help us make sure that we received the complete set.
