Building a sewing machine table

Yes, pretty much the hinges and I do have some small screws spaced out around the cut to support the machine. The spacers are just some plastic I found laying around the house

Looks very nice!!! I thought about doing this but I just didn't have the time to build it when I bought my machine last year.

Ty, it has definitely been nice to sew on a full size table.

Great job on your table. My table fits a smaller industrial machine with a 15 3/4 inch bed. I want to make it fit another standard 18 3/4 inch bed machine but also would like to fit the smaller bed machine back in when I want to. I just need to leave a few support points in the lower table wood to support each without interfering with the other. The knee lift lever I will have to move on the change, I think.
Edit: Should I leave a leave a ledge all the way around for the machines to rest on?

An alternative halfway thought through solution... You could fashion a drop in plywood plate that fits the larger bed, with a cutout for the smaller machine to sit up a bit higher. You'd lose your knee lift though.

I was going to cut the opening for the larger machine and then just fit a filler plate when using the smaller one. I think I may just have to slide the knee lift lever farther forward on the rod to change between types. Like this.
