Just saw this released and I’m liking the price a lot better than the Garmin. A few less features but since I do not own a Garmin watch for the GPS shot tracking I wouldn’t use that anyway. Looks pretty legit so far. Burris warranty is pretty much the same as Vortex which also makes it insanely attractive.

Why did they have to go and release this. Now I am gonna have to buy one. I really like my burris eliminator 2 I have on my slug gun.

That’s pretty much what I was thinking too. To boot it’s mounted on an R26 which is what I have. It’s like a calling...or they were directly telling me to empty my pockets.

Yup I got a r26 too. The 2-7 variable is a really nice touch. Man I thought I was almost done buying stuff for this season. Oh well guess it is only a couple more days of OT.

The 2-7 is nice especially since it compensates the aiming point basically turning it into a first focal plane scope. I’ll be adding it to my collection for sure

Setup was a breeze, shoots well and calculations are quick and accurate. Ordered from Scheels on a Wednesday and it was at my doorstep on Friday. 10 out of 10 would order again as of now.

Finally got mine put together. Time to get it zeroed and scope setup.. View attachment 51462View attachment 51463View attachment 51464

I’m clearly lacking in the accessory game for the R26. How do you like the quiver and cocking handle mod?

Side note when zeroing in. Do NOT skip the step of tightening down the windage and elevation set screws when adjusting. I tried to half ass it without tightening them up and it resulted in having to do the work twice. Learn from my laziness

I really like the mod for cocking handle and quiver gets them out of the way. The 26 is so tight underneath stuff always hitting your hands. They are munch mounts. Got them here. https://www.wyverncreations.com/rav...-p-1196.html?zenid=psg60bkeakjo6pr2ubomnpbvk1
The quiver mount has to be modified slightly with the oracle x. You have to drill new holes farther over to mount the quiver quick release to the right side further. The oracle has that bump out on the right side.

Thanks for the tip on the scope.

How easy are those to swap to the opposite side? I’m a left handed shooter so they’d get in the way like that

They can be mounted on either side. If the quiver was on the left you wouldn't have to drill new holes. Just flip the plate over and Mount.

Guess I’ll proceed to empty my pockets. I like the idea a lot better than taking them off when i get in the tree every time. That’s what I’m doing now

Yup vicious circle of empty pockets. Get a nice hanger hook with the quiver mount also. I added the pic rail, I like shooting off a bipod in the yard so most my stuff has a rail on it. I do a lot of ground hunting so I needed all my stuff handy. Gotta be able to move around bolts on the bottom in the brush doesn't work very good.

I used that scope for one full season last year. Mounted on a Excalibur which shoots about 370 fps. Shot several deer with it. Works well. Eats batteries for some reason. On my third. Very heavy. Don't like the balance feel of the xbow with it on. Not sure it's worth it.
