I talked to them earlier. "We prefer a side stacking, but if stacked vertically, staggered."
 
Well... ordered a couple of those carbon pro sticks to try.

hopefully they didn’t bs the weight cuz that’s why I bought them!...lol
 
They did well on these. If they actually weigh sub 1 lb ... I'll be impressed to say the least. It will be a new benchmark in climbing sticks. At less than 4 lb you can strap these to almost any pack in any configuration and you're not going to feel any of the weight. A predator and these sticks will weigh less than a 4 set of most sticks. Dang!

3 of these with a versa aider and squirrel step ROS under 5lbs??? Take my money!!!

I don’t see whyone of those wouldn’t work. I’d give it a whirl. If you’re concerned, drop them a line and I’m sure they’ll answer that for you!
 
I almost want to order 2 more. But if they don’t pack well....not so much.

I ordered 3 and plan on using a versa aider.

I agree with you! If they’re really sub 1# and are solid those will be killer! I look forward to your impressions of them! I personally like these much more then TN carbon sticks and having real aluminum steps and stand-off seems like it will be a much more solid stick.

Yes, they should. Although, I would recommend a Versa Aider. It's extremely light and always connected to the middle of the foot. They show them here with an Amsteel daisy aider over the button so a Versa Aider should work fine.

I would like to know how they stack also, can you give us an update when you get yours? I didn't like how they looked to be stacked side to side, looks like it would be too big of a footprint that way to pack well.
