Hi all,

I finally got around to uploading my first review. If you want to know more about my experience with the GWB’s or just want to make fun of me - check it out!

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks!

Ive had nearly every stick on the market, and these were by far my least favorite. As a matter of fact, they're the only stick I've ever used that I sold before I tried them out hunting.

Yeah, I totally get it. I think that there’s a lot of potential there but the GWB is not a stick I’ll be carrying this year.

I ended up with @BigCityBowhunter set of GWB sticks and I agree that they aren’t perfect, but they’re a great stick for the right person. The inability to change out steps and standoffs limits what you can do to modify them. You’re also stuck with the Amsteel daisy chain unless you want to change out the button, but that ruins the best part of the stick which is the way they stack together. I don’t think there is a perfect way to attach aiders to them. And the standoffs should have been a little bit bigger to get the steps farther from the tree. With all that said, I think for the guys who climb the old school way with multiple sticks they are an awesome option because they stack together and carry so well. Plus they’re built like a tank and are stable on the tree. I made a screw clamp to hold them together that makes carrying them even better. I might hang onto them to use as an option for hunts close to the truck or I might trade them to someone to try out another set of sticks. They aren’t my favorite stick but I think they have potential for the multi stick person. 5 of them stacked up is about the same height as 3 ewo or beast sticks and with the screw clamp holding them together they are locked solid. 0E253A1D-DE63-4415-AE26-D48E72AD75D6.png

Great write up! It seems our thoughts are pretty aligned on the GWB’s.
