Cheap Stuff that Gets the Job Done

... But does it actually work?
Honestly, I thought the thing was hokie when my wife bought it for the kids (they constantly get ate up when they're out in the yard). I didn't buy into it at all. However, I had some real bad bites two nights ago... bad enough for me to ask where she stores the bite syringe. Anyway, I followed the instructions and had the itching sensation in 2 of the 3 bites go away immediately. The third one was right on top of my ankle bone and I couldn't get a good seal on the thing so I'm not sure I can knock it for that one.

It worked well enough that I told my wife to buy a few more of them so we could keep them in various places. :)

Your favorite... skeeters
I don't know if it's the same in your area but there are 2 types of skeeters here, wet season and dry season. Wet season skeeters are horrible and big, hurt when they bite but that's it. Dry season skeeters are small, rarely feel or see them but the welts they leave last for a week.

Try wetting a cotton ball with straight bleach and lightly rub....
Never used that. Alcohol is my go to. After about four shots of Patron Silver they don’t itch near as bad! Lol. Seriously, I’ll have to try that. Ever use that on chiggers? Cuz they are tearing me up right now in Louisiana.

Chiggers are pretty miserable... I'll try bleach next time I get into them. I got them all over my feet last time I got them.... That was a tough couple weeks...sweaty work shoes, scratchy socks, mixed with a hundred or so oozing chigger bites that can't air out for 10 hours....yuck

The next time that you get stung by a wasp or bee, put straight Clorox on it. You will be surprised how much it helps. I've used it for over forty years and everyone says that it helps. Never tried it on chiggers/red bugs.
