I'd like to hear what you all recommend to carry binos for hunting. Looking for ease of use. I shoot longbow/recurve.
Made one from straps hooked to Badlands pack this year. Must be a better way.
Thank you

I made my own out of some thin bungee, maybe 1/8th? You just make a figure 8 out of it, then tie some small quick release buckles on with Paracord that you take the guts out, and you're done. The middle of the figure 8 goes in the middle of your back. Works awesome. Only issue is rain and snow it doesn't have a cover, but 90% of the time it's my go to.

I have a Rick Young, but it is easy to make yourself you described. Here is a video for it too...https://youtu.be/S5GpCO4nWhA

I have one for sale

I only hunt with a recurve, and the Rick Young Ultra light Bino. Harness is perfect for me on the ground or up in a tree. At any shooting angle too.

Also if you look at the "Overwrap Lockdown" image in the picture section. This has worked for me stalking wood chucks, on my knees bending forward shooting basically limbs horizontal to the ground. My Swarovski 10x40's never interfere with the shot.

I have 2. I have the AGC classic. I dont want my swaro really out in the open so I prefer to keep them protected and contained. Never gets in my way shooting but I dont wear it when a saddle. I have a old horn hunter with my vanguard binos on for mtn huntin. You dont want it because the elastic will stretch out and binos wanna sag and bounce. Read alotta good about the rick young which will likely be what I pick up to replace the horn hunter
