CLASSIFIED SCAMMERS

No, It appears a hacker may have gained control of madgrad's account and is posting using magrad's identity. He's using madgrad's good standing and recognizability to scam others.

So the pic is photoshopped? Is there any similarities now since a few well known users have been hacked? Only Tapatalk users or the web browser users?

Ok this goes without saying but your best defense against a bad classifieds transaction is G&S. I’ve successfully battled a PayPal transaction but it was a few years ago & I fought the scam through my bank not PayPal. Not sure if things have changed with their liability disclaimers since then..

Not sure anyone else saw this one but looks very similar.
If it seems to good to be true it probably is.

yep, locked it but maybe not soon enough. . . .

That’s overpriced for what it is… but that’s just my opinion

Hope we get this figured out how they are getting in. Is AT having the same issues? Are they logging in from a work computer?

It's my suspicion that accounts are getting hacked because they use very weak passwords. Unfortunately people are not forthcoming when asked about how these things actually happen. While we attempt to work through these issues, anyone reading this can take the simple step of changing ALL stupid-simple passwords they use to complex passwords. The best solution is to use a Password Manager program. Not going to tell you which one to use, but maybe click here and pick one and use it. It may be difficult but it's not impossible.

You right. 3% isn’t going to break you and it keeps you from getting scammed out of the other 97%. I ordered a generator a couple of years ago that never showed up. I provided PayPal with the relative information and they gave me a full refund, no questions asked.

First and foremost, my apologies to any and all this may have affected. Was on vacation with the family and this all happened on the drive home somehow. Thanks for those that vouched for me. I didn't think my password was weak, but changed nonetheless. For others, I use web browser (duck duck go) and not tapatalk, though on vacation I made the mistake of logging into public wifi (just can't stay off of saddlehunter.com for that long apparently).
