Hey fellas,

Put together a little video on my hunting setup for this year. It is by far the most compact and lightweight system I have used. Still tweaking some things but thought I'd share with the group. Big thanks to you guys on here for helping me look at my setup in a whole new light. Special thanks to @flinginairos, must have watched your video at least 15 times. It definitely inspired me to try the spurs - so glad I did.

If you would like to see more on how I modified the spurs or any of my other gear just post a comment here or on the video and I'll see what i can do.

PS - There's some hunting recovery footage with one of the bucks I took with my recurve in a past season towards the end. Hope you guys enjoy.

Where did you get the buckles and straps for your spurs? I tried cobra buckles but didn’t like how it turned out

Dang. I never considered climbing spikes due to safety concerns. You made it look easy

Jabraham63-
I did a couple DIY mods to the saddle, platform and the spurs. On the spurs I replaced the leather straps with 2” webbing and 2” buckles for the top fastener and 1” buckles and webbing for the bottom. Links to what I used below.

They really are pretty easy! I’m extremely excited about them. @WHW has been reaping the benefits of these things for decades. Glad I finally caught on.
