Just a quick observation for 5 step aider users. This morning was my first really cold morning that I opted for my Sorel boots instead of my rubber boots. Needless to say the Sorrels are much bulkier boots. I could barely get the toes fully into the aider. This was much more difficult to climb and worse coming down. Everyone knows how easy a kick out can be with an aider. If your using a 5 step with large bulky boots, please slow your climb and descent and really check your toe plant in the aider before the next step, a kick out can happen quick. Be safe my friends
