Question for guys hunting out of soft saddle.....does your tail get very cold in them? I've got a web so under 60 degrees I'm good. But......due to the mobility of a soft saddle I'd love to try a soft saddle with temperatures under 30 degrees...i.e. rut in November in Tennessee. Just looking for feedback from you guys. I'm 56 and I get cold easier than I used to......maybe a little candy butt... LOL

I hunted out of my kite this past weekend in 26 degree weather with no issues. I've never noticed any of the saddles I've used, including mesh, cause my rear to get cold.

I hunted all week in my Trophyline ambush lite.
Today it was 17* with -6* wind chill.
I did feel the wind a bit and it's cooler than a platform stand but at the end of the day you got to know how to dress.
I layer medium not heavy, chemical packs are your friend. Get the ones with adhesive, they are the only ones I buy. Keep your core warm and your rear end is never cold.
My coldest archery deer was -5* actual Wisconsin bliss.( On the ground)

I’m in Wisconsin as well and hunted this morning at 12 degrees. It got a little chilly but I think I could’ve avoided that with some of my heavier layers around the tail. Anyone use a SBW heater from Tethrd?

I've used the adhesive ones already on my kidneys....love'em. Just wondering about my rear.....looking for experience from y'all. My candy butt........

What part of TN are you in? I’m in middle. Your more than welcome to try my Mantis if ya like.
