To the wisconsin archery opener this Saturday. With kids at home now, definitely haven't gotten as much boots to the ground scouting as I'd like, but it is what it is and I'll take my time when i can get it. Got system together and down in the yard all summer. Not minimalist or compact by any means, but what i'm comfortable with and still beats dragging my summit viper through the woods! good luck to my fellow wisco hunters (and everyone else) this weekend.

Sweet. Very similar to my archery setup. I don't use the molle frame so my Podium goes in my pack and sticks strap to back of pack. I just use a lightweight Alps pack to keep the weight down.

Are those castration bands on your Podium strap/post? I'm currently using zip ties but they break. I have some castration bands I could try if that is working for you.

Good luck out there! Sunday is go day for me.

Yep, castration bands to keep the strap in place - seems to do a good job keeping that strap on there. I have an Alps Crossfire as well, but just can't seem to get everything cinched down tight enough without clanking off one another (Stealth Strips are needed, I know) and having much usable space inside the pack anymore to carry the rest of my gear, and my Eberlestock Blie Widow is just a beast of a bag for a day hunt. I just kept coming back to the molle frame and cheap (Menards?) pack. I am sure it will gradually evolve to more minimalist with more sit time in the woods, but happy with system. Good luck Sunday!

Well first sit down... even with practicing in my yard, still a little adjustment needed to get comfy for a longer sit. Feel like i got it dialed in. Didn't see much, just this little guy - hoping her mom or dad would've stopped by!

At least he smiled for the camera! Knock one down!
