Are the Orange loops only for a LB or would they support an additional bridge? My concern is that they are not part of the main webbing which goes around your waist but sewn on into it. I don't seem to be able to find supporting literature on the CRŰZR website.

They are for your lineman’s rope. I’m not saying they aren’t strong enough to utilize as a second bridge point, but because they do not support the top and bottom webbing, it will not be comfortable to use as a bridge for any extended length of time.

I use them for my LB only. The other set of loops are the bridge loops. I don't know why you would want an additional bridge. My CRÜZR is going on 3 years and I have had no problems using it as advertised. Good hunting!

When I'm climbing, I like my bridge adjusted so that it's short. At hight though, I'd like it extended but I can't seem to loosen it safely under load

You should NOT ever try to loosen it under load. I leave my bridge at one length for up at height. It doesn't get in my way climbing at all.

Having said that the amsteel does get the prusik very tight. It may take some wiggling to loosen.

Good luck

Look up some of JRB’s videos. I use a redundant bridge similar to his instructions for rappelling. I’m not sure why you need to adjust your bridge while under load, though. Do you not have a platform or ROS at height? Even if you only stand on bolts, you can simply use your LB in an X configuration to temporarily take the load off of your tether while you lengthen it at height. Hopefully, you aren’t hunting with only one tether and one carabiner…

Guys I’m curious if maybe he’s not saying he can’t adjust his bridge under load, but perhaps he means he is struggling to adjust it after it’s been weighted? People don’t usually adjust one under load but often have to struggle with their hitch after they’ve weighted it.
