Who here is into craft beer? Tell me some of your favorite styles and some specific beers/brewery’s you truly enjoy!

I enjoy, Stouts, NEIPA, and Sours the most.

Some breweries I enjoy are The North Brewery, Mikkeller, Treehouse, Trillium, Equilibrium and Industrial Arts.

I was, but trying to stem the tide before I have to go buy all new clothes. Going to have to cave this weekend though as one of my favorite local breweries is bringing back their NE IPA that they don't have all the time.

Will have to fight the urge to get a growler to bring home though.

Some of my favorites are:

Hardy woods barrel aged ginger bread stout
Founders CBS
Bosteels Tripel Karmeliet
Crooked run Raspberry empress
Forgotten Boardwalk funnel cake, must be on nitro otherwise it kinda sucks

If I am slumming it Blue moon...

Founders is probably my favorite brewery. I prefer Belgians and stouts.

I think craft beers are mainstream now so you could just ask what type of beer do y’all like! Haha

I enjoy porters and stouts the most recently. I was big on IPAs for a bit. Sours can be good on occasion. If I’m not drinking “craft” I’m drinking yuengling.

I will add that my father in law lives in Salem Oregon and is a huge beer snob. When he has us over he is always pulling out very “special” beers that are the ones that are like $20-30 a bottle and are high alcohol percent and super fruity tasting. The first year I went I obliged since I was asking his daughter to marry me. The second year I obliged because I just wanted to be nice. This past year I told him give me a plain ole porter or stout I’m not drinking that prune juice! Y’all know what I’m talking about? That stuff is not beer to me.

There is objectively no better beer than an ice-cold American Pale Ale. It's the beer of men who win world wars, go to the moon, and break the sound barrier.

It's the miraculous triumph of a great nation. Our crown achievement. The jubilant marriage of democracy, capitalism, the free market, judeo-christian tradition, industrialism, and the scientific method. Old world tradition meets new world efficiency. The fact that anyone, from a billionaire CEO to a drifter under an overpass, can crack open a cold, refreshing, sanitary brew of consistent taste and quality, is the embodiment of the American dream.

I had been brewing my own beer since 2006. Last year I began to develop issues related to gluten so now I can not drink beer containing gluten.

But when I was brewing, I always had a special love for Belgian dubbels, German doppelbocks, American Amber ales, kolsch, and American ales. 90 percent of the beer I made for under these categories. I also brewed the occasional farmhouse ale.

Chimay cinq, Chimay grande reserve, and Ayinger celebrator are probably my 3 favorite beers.

I'm not super picky, but IPAs & DIPAs tend to do it for me. Prefer New England style over western.

One of the few perks to living in the freezing Green Mountains is access to some pretty famous breweries.

The Alchemist's Heady Topper
Hill Farmstead's Edward
Lost Nation's Mosaic
Lawson's Sip of Sunshine
14th Star's Tribute
Zero Gravity's Madonna

But when it's time to chase the micropterus and smoke lots of meat...copius quantities of cold blue cans!

I don’t care what they say. That high life swill is not beer.... lol

I like my beer like I like my women...Dark and Bitter.

Trying to decide on the best craft beer is like trying to decide on the best climbing method. Good luck with that.
Good to see you G2! Try wise acre- gotta get up to get down/ dark, coffeeish flavor, WiseAcre is a Memphis brewery so can’t get it every where

That's the other thing with Craft Beer...it's not an even playing field. How can I compare SE Georgia breweries with those in Colorado Springs, CO if I can't try them both. We can't get CO craft beer in GA so it's impossible to make an apples to apples comparison.

I'm also not picky. Straightforward pale ales are probably my favorite overall style for having a grownup type beer with dinner. I would say my overall #1 grownup beer is Bell's Two Hearted. I really dig the NE IPA's also, I like the bright citrus hops and don't really care for the super bitter stuff.
