They seem to love trail cams… we had like 3 in our cameras this month.

Putting them up high on trees they can climb doesn't help much. They think it is a bee's nest or something and climb to check it out. In one area over ran with bear, I put them on skinny trees that they can't climb and put them 10 feet up.
 
Yes it’s a good one! Bears are hard to judge but it’s a dandy, I would guess he is pushing 300 plus live weight.
 
Here is another photo I got of him. I'm no bear expert but he looks pretty big to me. What do you guys think, is it a big one, or is my lack of calibration fooling me?

He’s definitely adult sized. They can get over 500 lbs. I’d land that one around 375 - 390 range. Definitely big enough to put a hurting on you
