Hunting a national refuge. Found water oaks raining. Set up on it one afternoon and had this fellow out at 20 yards. Always stayed hidden in the palmettos and I never had a good shot. This morning I went back and he came feed before I had enough light and he walked off with out a shot. 1 hour latter he came back. After several minutes of watching him feed he finally messed up and got where I could see that he was broadside and took the 20 yard shot through a palmetto. I hit a little low and forward. He ran about 50 yards and dropped. Cut the arteries off the top of the heart.
