Crossbow string question.

Can someone tell me if this should be of concern on my Excalibur? One side has some fraying. The other side looks fine. It’s about 5 years old.

I'd replace it. Strings are cheap and easy. New limbs and cams not so much.

Time for a definite replacement. Besides damage to your crossbow why take a chance with your health & safety?

Yea man that string needs to go before it decides to leave on its own.

Yes. Probably should have changed a few years ago. A broken string on a xbow in the field can really hurt.

Definitely needs replaced . I wouldn't shoot it until
you get a new string.

Agree with everyone else, change it. While you're ordering, get an extra. They are not hard to change yourself, and having that extra might come in real handy some day.
