I don’t know if the front angled part is worth it? It’s still not much support when you are leaning and it takes away more usable space in my opinion. I think putting the platform at a downward angle would benefit you more then the 1-2” of angle on that platform. Just my 2 cents though.
This will end up being hunter preference. A few members built or modified platforms similar to this (probably more that I don't know of too). But, if you look at the first link below, the Seeker's dimensions are remarkably close to the member's build, so it's a good frame of reference.
Anyway, here are three opposing reactions from members who went this route:
1. "After my initial sit I will say the lip on the front doesn’t do much, it was rare that I stood that far out on the platform some added comfort when on the edge but really not needed. I think the lip would be more effective if the platform was shorter."
2. "I modified my ambush to what you are talking about. Super comfortable and Rock solid."
3. "Here's one I made, love it!......I did one out of steel tubing, actually 3 of them finally settled on 6" angle 20 degrees. This pic is one with i believe 30 degrees."
So, split opinions on the shortish angled Seekerish style, and one preference for a longer angled portion.
Anyway, these two threads are pretty great IMO:
I am a new saddle hunter and new to the page. I work at a fabrication shop so I decided to build my own platform. It’s still in the design stage so I’m looking for any input, I’d add a picture of the design but it keeps telling me the photos I take/ try to upload are too large. (If someone can...

Certainly possible this or something like it has been done, just an angled variation on a homemade platform someone posted, his name was NutButter or somesuch. It has just enough of a flat section that you can stand on it or rest your feet flat when your sitting but the angled part seems more...
