Cruzr climbing sticks

Do you secretly work for cruzr? Lol jkjk You’re selling me their sticks that are yet to be released! Glad to hear my customer service experience with them is more common! I talked my buddy out of another brand saddle and he bought a Cruzr! He loves it!
It's also the best saddle for women IMHO. I went through three other saddles before I got my XC. Love it. Extremely comfortable for us wider hip types! Lol

i'm glad you didn't give up until you found what worked well for you

there's a lot of people out there that tried one saddle, didn't dial it in with tether/bridge length/etc, and then tell the internet that saddles aren't comfortable

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, the XC might not be for everybody, but it sure works fantastically for most people.

i have a friend who’s about my size and he tried everything under the sun, he tried mine once and immediately ordered one for himself.

again, not for everyone but it’s a great starting place for sure

Well I asked and this is what they said.

First, thank you for being a valued CRÜZR customer.

As of right now our new Seeker Mini platform and climbing sticks are tentatively tracking to be released in the late summer of this year before the season starts.

Once we get a set date, we will make an announcement about the new products.

When it comes to pricing, we do not have a price set yet, but what I can tell you is that they will be low-cost competitive meaning they will be super affordable! We will not be taking pre-orders.

If you haven't already, go ahead and subscribe to our newsletter. Once we get items in stock and set dates for new releases, we make the announcement to our subscribers first. If you do not wish to subscribe to our newsletter, another option would be to follow us on social media (Facebook and Instagram) because we will make the following announcement on those platforms as well.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to ask. We are happy to help!

Your CRÜZR Team,
Thanks,

I better start saving up. Even if the mini platform is still the same weight as a predator....i'll gladly make it my primary and move the predator to backup. I'll be down with their sticks also is close to 1 pound and the design makes sense.

Thank You, I need someone to test those sticks for me, LOL.

You have to give yourself a cheesy nickname (slockmaster -pffff, really?) and then insist everyone use it or at least repeatedly use it to refer to yourself in public, to be anywhere near Tim Wells level.

I guess I missed that part…

Your CRÜZR Team,
Thanks,

I got this response on 8/18/22. Disappointed to see the sticks have slipped a bit & probably won't have them for this season, but hopefully that means they are doing their due diligence & making sure they get them right. Should be good news for those wanting the mini seeker though.

First, thank you for being a valued CRÜZR customer.

As of right now, our new Seeker Mini platform is tracking to be released in late August or early September and climbing sticks are tentatively tracking to be released close to the holiday season, around November, or December timeframe.

Once we get a set date, we will make an announcement about the new products.

When it comes to pricing, we do not have a price set yet on the stick, but what I can tell you is that they will be low-cost competitive meaning they will be super affordable! The Mini Seeker is priced at $180. We will not be taking pre-orders for these products.

How much more “mini” is it, I have a seeker on back order, should be shipped any day now according to an email I got from them. Is it worth waiting for the mini?

My biggest concern in a climbing stick and stand is long term reliability and safety for we larger over 230lb hunters, but especially for those closer to 280 than 270lb hunters as there are A LOT of us.
Sticks get exposed to considerable levels of potentially damaging forces over and over year after year especially if even on the vary rare occasion they either or both get installed and or used incorrectly and exposed to forces beyond the capabilities of their mechanical design parameters and in physics there are absolutely no free lunches. You can not have the best of all possible worlds and have a sub1lb stick that will hold up to the same level of forces from a 250-270lb hunter as a stick that weighs 2lbs or above.

I feel ultra light weight sticks could very well work for hunters of average or slightly above average size but we hunters at or above 250lbs had better first confirm such ultra light weight sticks long term durability before risking our physical well being with them.

How many sets of beast sticks will we see for sale come August 2022? Over/Under anyone?
I be FIRST in line to buy a LNIB set or two of 24" or 20" Beast sticks.
I'm a bigger guy 6'2" 225-235lbs normally on occasion balloon up to 260lbs and have size 14XXXY but 90% of my boots are size 14.5-15XXW to allow for insulated socks.
I tried and HATED small hang-ons and light weight sticks that had minimal stand off distances I barrowed from friends to try out.

I guess as in all things in treestand hunting it's a compromise between comfort light weight and safety. I have had while hunting from a treestand and NOT wearing a FBH, more than one as close as it gets close call to escaping what would have been at the VARY least a life altering fall from a tree to a life ending fall from a tree and now will always put safety first as I'm reasonably confident I have used up all the good fortune the good lord's gonna gift me while hunting from a treestand.

top end recurve limbs for a while have been made of layers of carbon held apart by foam with the foam acting in part like a spacer (dense foam)

it actually could work

did you see the post here where MIT made a super plastic that is the same weight as regular plastic but several times stronger than steel?

if that discovery is legit, it will revolutionize almost everything in our life and will trickle down to sticks and platforms
Based on my previous experience with any literally new revolutionary product that will legitimately revolutionize entire industries both technologically and economically speaking such technologies will be almost certainly see as great of an economical exploitation in terms of maximum profits as a result of costs as high as the market will bare for as long as the market will tolerate and allow before they become affordable to be used for manufacturing items that sell in at best extreme minimalist amounts like treestands and climbing sticks.

In short in MY opinion I wouldn't expect see a revolutionary new 100% synthetic substitute for steel or aluminum FAR lighter and MUCH stronger than either making it's way to becoming economically feasible to be used manufacturing a item that sells to less 0.01% of the population any time soon.
