Anyone have any opinion, or even better, pics, of the 2 color choices in action? Struggling to make a choice. I feel like either color could stick out, being a solid color. If anyone has any thoughts, I'm open to hearing them!

I have the grey. I thought the same thing about it standing out. But take into consideration the way deer eyes work and the color of the woods. The grey is the same color as many trees in my area of Pa. I had 20+ deer within 10 yards and never bother to care the color of my saddle. when i got busted it's because I was a human shape hanging off the side of a tree or I smelled like a human. I doubt either color is going to make or break anything.

I have the gray. Blends in with the sky and canopy better than black while elevated where I hunt.

My first XC was the grey and ordered a black this past Saturday. I made a stencil and used a sponge to dab a little paint to break the outline on the grey and sure I’ll do the same on the black.
If a deer sees the color of my saddle then it’s too late anyway. I don’t think it really matters.

Thanks for all the feedback so far. I know deep in my soul that the color doesn't matter, but you know how somehow you can't let yourself believe that? I wear mismatched camo all the time, and I never get spotted. However, I did recently wear a pair of solid color knee high muck boots, and saw a pic of me in a tree. Those boots stood out like a sore thumb!!! I do appreciate a few PA guys chiming in, 99.9 percent of my hunting is done on the public lands of PA. I feel like the grey might be more forgiving, based on this feedback and hours of staring at photos.

I agree. Mine is gray also.

I have black. Honestly if you sit still and hunt the wind well. The color is not going to matter. If they are staring up at you enough so that the color matters. Your already busted. IMO.
