DanO is the manO part 2. Check out his new standoffs

What are the lengths and weights of your sticks as pictured? Those are awesome and have me wanting to do some stick building!

Thanks, the tubes are 20" long and they weigh 1.5lbs each ready to hunt. I did make them out of 1/16" wall tubes. I am on the lighter side, I did go ahead and put aluminum spacers in the tubes where the steps and standoffs attach.

Define lighter... I'm 175 without hunting gear

First actual hunt with @DanO stick parts. They are so badass that Chuck Norris called and wants a set.

Do DanO’s stand off’s put you off the tree more than the beast sticks? My issue with the beast sticks and I’m only a size 11.

Beleive they’ll put your step approx 4” off the tree. He’s got measurements over on his website. Doublesteps.com

I've never had beast sticks but they give you a lot of standoff from the tree. Probably nearly double that of a typical stick

Thanks gents, the beast sticks were noticeably less standoff than the helium’s for me. Awkwardly had to put my foot sideways , which I don’t feel was very safe given the sharpness of them. DanO’s stand off seem to be a good solution .... unforthnetly will own a very expensive stick .
