Why don't you like the higher profile vanes? Sorry if I'm just dense here. What didn't you like? If they're actually quiet and durable they seem like a good choice, although speedy but I can live with that if they're durableI've faded into the background of perfecting an arrow tune for stabilization and then adding a low profile setup on the rear to benefit me. I've started staying away from higher profile vanes, and it's not because they don't work lol.

I'm shooting blazers/bully or rapt-x now because that's what's on pre-fletched.
If you went with the Heats. You could have saved 1gr per fletching. On 3 vanes x 4 arrows, you could have reduced your weight by 12gr. Hope you don't call your self a minimalist...Well I bought 100 white ones. Weighed 50 for giggles, <10 took a couple tries but every one of them came out at 7.0gr on my scale. Didn't see anything worse than 6.8 or 7.4 the whole time but they are sold as +/- .1
Not sure I'm the best guy for accuracy testing , or any testing lol, but if any one has questions feel free to ask and I'll see what I can do
