About to pull the trigger on one sticking. I have Oplux tether and lines man now and really like it. How does Canyon rope compare to Oplux?

I’m in for info but when I called Sterling they said that oplux was unique and did not compare anything else to it. I’m not sure the person was super familiar with the products though.

Im a first year member on here. Check out rope descriptions on Eastern Woods Outdoors.
Also look at the member map , i'm fortunate to have met a few guys locally that helped shorten my learning curve. I used oplux and plan to go with a thicker diameter canyon next year.
Lots of helpful threads on this, search threads on what device you plan to repel with.

It might be helpful to clarify which "canyon" rope you are referring to. Off the top of my head I can think of C-IV Canyon, CanyonLux, and Canyon Elite.

I was referring to the Canon C IV DanO sells with his repel kit. I wanted to know if it packs down as nice as Oplux. I ended up doing some looking around and going with Teufelberger Resc tech 8mm from DanO with a Mad Rock safe guard.
