Wanna sell me one! But not for the $250 that lone wolf charges! Lol

Do you think this could be made with 1/2 inch ? I’m asking bc the Harbor Freight mini mill would make this process a breeze but can only cut 1/2. I was also considering using carbon fiber tubes for the arms since my camera is well under 5 lbs.

Thoughts?

Im sure it could. 5/8ths is what I had available. I think Carbon Fiber would be a good choice as well. I just liked the design of the LWCG Pocket arm and how it mounts to the tree.

I put a quick video together to show how im using an amsteel daisy chain to mount it to the tree.

I was just looking at some threads and this one gave me an idea. Your tension bolt could be used to tighten a platform then no camming would be necessary. It is now 12:03 PM. Have one built by 4:00PM. :D

Is it 4 yet?
I'm waiting on my lwhc to mount this to

@always89y

I see you used 5/16-18 threaded rod did you feel this was strong enough? Would you go with thicker threads for less turns? I was going to order the threaded rod and knob and wanted you opinion.

Also, is there a “best” online store to get amsteel rope?

Was also going to build new straps, whoopie sling for versabutton sticks.

Thanks
