DIY Sportsman’s North Dakota hunt. (Weird looking mantis)

I figured that was part of the “buy now or wait for 2020” comment @g2outdoors made on a recent podcast.

I’ll give this a whirl...my guess:
Adjustable webbing bridge. Sewn on one side. Other side removable.

If it ain’t Amsteel, it ain’t Tethrd lol. And does it still count as a game changer if Aero Hunter already did it on the Flex?

Anyone know what backpack he’s running? Awesome video tho!!

If only they hadn’t, you could BE the game changer with an idea like that! Lol I only knew about this because I got my Kestrel upgraded with the removable web bridge.

You can see the amsteel bridge when he's hanging. Given the location of the blur maybe an update to the lineman's loops?

That buck was awesome. I'm definitely going to North Dakota next year to start my season. A velvet P&Y is on my bucket list.

Now that you mention it, they're does seem to be some water spots on the lens. I think Garrett should do a better job of editing and keeping his lens clean. Weird...he's usually so precise.

I would have a hard time believing he was using a mantis prototype from two years ago. He’s been hunting from pre production prototypes for the last few years now. That’s for tethrd, new tribe, and the jx3. There is always someone testing new products. Some of them will never see the market. Wait times still suck from most manufacturers but overall it’s a great time to be a saddle hunter.

I second that North Dakota hunt. Seriously thinking about it in the future. It was my year to pick this year. I chose Ohio bowhunt.
I may have to wait three years. Everyone in my group has 4 Iowa pref points so thats coming soon too.

Some of you sleuths need to pay attention to the blur after the shot, during a jibber jabber session. He moves his hand across the blur and the blur is removed while his hand passes so as to not make it so obvious that it's being blurred......you can see what you want to see in the frames just before and just after his hand crosses. Carry on.

If they switch to webbing, I would guess it is the dyneema strap material they use for the versa-straps. That doesn’t seem like nearly the “game changer” Greg was describing in the podcast, though.

Agreed on all counts. It’s a good idea though!

So let’s see some screen grabs?
